with to make the modifications. It's easier to call their '800 number,
however.

- Ask
your Webmaster for help if this information is foreign to you
or contact us by
email
if
you need our help transferring your domain,
we can help through you this process quickly.
Please
keep in mind that domain name registration or modification may
take up to 24 hours to change and propagate.
3).Upload
your web site files
You
will be given an IP address shortly after you sign up.
To upload web pages to your web site prior to DNS propagation:
Use a standard
FTP client, but instead of using your domain name, connect directly
to the IP address of the web site. You need to enter the IP address
because your FTP client will not recognize (resolve) the web site
until the DNS has fully propagated (published worldwide).
If you are using an FTP program to upload your site, you will need
to locate the web directory manually. The
path to the web directory is: ../../web. Please
note that the FTP user login is: admin@yoursite.com and a
temporary password that we will give you.
If
you are behind a firewall remember to select "use Passive Mode"
under the advanced settings of your FTP client. - If you are using
DreamWeaver, GoLive, NetObjects, or other web publishing tools,
you typically need to specify that you want to upload your content
into the following directory: ../../web
4). Set up Email
You
will be ableto use your web panel link to set up email accounts.
Email
can be handled in one of two ways:
- Have
all your email forwarded to your current email address (the
one your ISP gave you when you signed up for their service).
This
can be done easily through the web panel and is the most common
method used.
- Create
custom "POP" accounts which can be yourname@yourdomain.com.
This is a standard included feature included with your hosting
account. Your web panel FAQ has very clear instructions on how
to do this. See the explanation below for a visual explanation
on setting up a POP account on your computer after you have
set it up on the web panel.
for a visual guide to setting up pop email in Outlook Express
and Outlook 2002.
